Eco-Schools USA is a program that provides a framework to help educators integrate sustainable principles throughout their schools and curriculum.

The Center for Green Schools at the US Green Building Council has a mission to put every child in a green school within this generation, and focuses on preparing students for a sustainable future, engaging communities for impact and guiding policy and investment. .

School-based K-12 curriculum & grant programs empower youth to tackle real-world challenges in their schools and communities by teaching environmental literacy, social innovation, and hands-on design skills.

Last year, student projects funded by EcoRise micro-grants saved 190,054 gallons of water and 10,435,734 kilowatt hours of energy, and diverted 30,106 pounds of waste from the landfill! Student-led projects ranged from vegetable gardens and rainwater harvesting systems, to battery drives, solar-charging stations, and low flow faucets.

EcoRise currently serves teachers at several 麻豆社 schools including Tubman ES and Phelps ACE HS through an EPA grant.

City Blossoms’ mission is to foster communities through creative, kid-driven green spaces and innovative resources. They work with all manner of schools and organizations to provide garden programming, in-school and after-school education, field trips, community celebrations and volunteer opportunities.
